Criteria for Eligibility

To maintain the quality of our monthly "100 Pinoy Blogs that Matter" list, we've set the following criteria for eligibility:

• The blog may not be necessarily authored by a pure Pinoy but it should be made primarily for Filipino readers.
• The blog must not be a web-scraper or a content farm, gathering articles via RSS feeds of other blogs.
• The blog must not be violating intellectual property rights (copyright).
• The blog may be authored by several people as long as it's not owned and managed by a company. 
• The blog must not be featuring inappropriate contents like pornography and it should not be promoting hatred, violence, terrorism, discrimination, piracy, and anything against public policy and norms.
• The blog should be updated. It should have at least one post in a month.
• The blog must not be featuring sex scandals (except if it's only a news report) and other libelous articles.
• The blog must not be offering unauthorized video streaming of TV programs and movies and downloading of MP3s, games, ebooks, applications, themes/layouts, TV shows, movies, etc.
• The blog must contain original content. If posting press releases, the blogger(s) should be authorized to do so. The blogger should also be putting credits/links on articles and photographs that he/she doesn't own.
